Alice Braga Biography

Alice Braga Moraes is a Brazilian actress born on April 15, 1983 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is daughter of actress Ana Braga.

Alice Braga's first commercial was for yoghurt when she was eight years old. She became popular she was cast as Angelica in the critically acclaimed movie "City of God", for which she received a Best Supporting Actress nomination from the Cinema Brazil Grand Prize. She made her english language film debut in 2006 in Journey to the End of Night with a starring role with Brendan Fraser, Mos Def, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. The film was premiered at the 5th Annual Tribeca Film Festival.

In 2007, Braga was cast in the Will Smith blockbuster "I Am Legend" and the drama "Crossing Over". She also appeared in the films including Only God Knows (2006), Crossing Over (2009), Predators (2010), On the Road (2012), Elysium (2013), Kill Me Three Times (2014).
