Alison Becker Biography

Alison Becker is an American actress, comedian and television personality. She was born in Allamuchy Township, New Jersey. Because of her fascination with grammar and reading literature, she decided to get a degree in English and eventually graduated cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Becker moved to New York City and began exploring the fields of theatre and comedy, creating a variety of original characters and sketch comedies. She is a regular player at the Upright Citizens Brigade, a theatre improv comedy group, and has performed on stage in Hopscoth: A New York Sex Comedy, Caroline's on Broadway, and several other comedy clubs. She was the host of VH1's Top 20 Video Countdown.
