Amber Heard Biography

Amber Heard is an American actress. She was born in Austin, Texas on April 22, 1986, the daughter of Patricia Paige and David Clinton Heard.

Heard made her film debut in the acclaimed sports drama Friday Night Lights, starring Billy Bob Thornton. She played her first leading role in All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and appeared in The CW television show Hidden Palms.

She received the Breakthrough Award at Young Hollywood Awards for her role in Never Back Down (2008). She won the Dallas Star Award at the 2010 Dallas International Film Festival.

Amber Heard has appeared in magazines' Most Beautiful and Sexiest lists. She ranked 25th in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women of 2010 and 13th in Maxim's Hot 100 Women 2010.

Heard made appearances in two music videos, Kenny Chesney's "There Goes My Life" and Eisley's "I Wasn't Prepared". Her first movie role was Maria in Friday Night Lights (2004) which was both a commercial and critical success. She is also known for her appearances in films such as The Informers (2008), The Stepfather (2009) and Zombieland (2009).

Amber Heard met actor Johnny Depp while filming The Rum Diary. She married Johnny Depp on February 3, 2015 at their home in Los Angeles.
