Former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith, who parlayed her bombshell looks into a life of glamour, controversy and marriage to an oil magnate 60 years her senior, has died at the age of 39 on 8th February 2007 after collapsing in mysterious circumstances in a hotel in Hollywood, Florida, police said. Captain Charlie Tiger of Seminole, Florida, said that a nurse who was with Smith in her hotel room alerted emergency services at 1.38 p.m. Smith was dead on her arrival at a hospital where eyewitnesses reported seeing her wheeled in as her body was covered with a sheet. |
