Gabrielle Union BiographyGabrielle Union born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 29, 1972 is an american actress and model. Her parents are Sylvester and Theresa Union. She grew up in Pleasanton, California where she attended Foothill High School. Gabrielle wanted to become a lawyer and attended University of Nebraska. She eventually completed degree in Sociology. While studying she joined a modeling agency to earn extra academic credits.

Gabrielle Monique Union started her acting career appearing in teen movies - 'Love and Basketball' and '10 Things I Hate About You'. She got her first leading role in the film Deliver Us From Eva in 2003. But first, Union landed the role of Oscar nominee Will Smith's girlfriend Syd in the film Bad Boys II. In 2004 she starred in the film Breakin' All the Rules with Jamie Foxx. In 2005 she acted in the remake of 'The Honeymooners'. In 2006, she starred as Busta Rhymes love interest in the music video for Rhymes' "I Love My Chick." In 2007, Gabrielle Union starred in the film 'Daddy's Little Girls' which was released on Valentines Day.

Gabrielle Union married NFL Player Chris Howard of the Jacksonville Jaguars in May 2001 and the couple got seperated in Nov 2005.
