Madeleine Stowe Biography

Madeleine Stowe was born on 18th Aug 1958 in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, California. Stowe wanted to become a concert pianist and took piano lessons from a Russian-born music teacher Sergei Tarnowsky. After his death she studied Journalism at University of Southern California.

She came into notice to a movie agent while she was performing in a play at the Solaris, a Beverly Hills theater and got several offers of appearances in TV and films. In her long acting career she is well known for her role in Stakeout (1987), where she played opposite Richard Dreyfuss, and Revenge (1990). Thereafter she got major roles in films like Short Cuts(as the wife of a compulsive lying and adulterous police officer played by Tim Robbins), Blink(as a blind musician), Twelve Monkeys (as a sympathetic psychiatrist).

Madeleine Stowe is married to actor Brian Benben. She got married in 1982 and have a daughter and a son.
