Nicola Roberts Biography

Nicola Maria Roberts is an English pop star and is the youngest member of Girls Aloud. She became the second girl to join Girls Aloud. Since then Nicola has co-written two of the group's album tracks and two b-sides. She is also known as 'Cola'.

Nicola Roberts was born on October 5, 1985 in Runcorn, Cheshire. She started singing at the young age of eleven. Her group was formed after auditioning for a UK TV show "Popstars". Nicola debuted in FHM's one hundred Sexiest Women list in 2005, charting at #77, ahead of the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Dannii Minogue and Hilary Duff. She appeared number 15 in FHM's 20 Sexiest Singers 2005. Nicola was #84 in the 2006 poll.

Nicola Roberts is currently single, after splitting with long-term boyfriend Carl Egerton in December 2006.
